Villa Terra Creta is a 5 bedroom villa located in Akrotiri.

The modern architecture is humancentric and exudes unpretentious elegance, comfort and subtle luxury. The villa is built on 3 separate levels. It warrants discretion in all 5 bedrooms that spread across the 3 levels and inspires conviviality in the multiple common areas, decorated with original Art and furnished with pieces from owners’ private collection. All levels have direct access to the grounds due to the amphitheatrical construction and all interiors enjoy unlimited natural light, A/C and floor heating.

The ground floor consists of 2 separate living areas with fireplace and library with books offered to guests for reading, dining area for 10 people, the fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the outdoor kitchen area and the Guest WC.

On this level there is a separate studio with 2 connecting rooms, featuring a bedroom with queen bed, an en-suite bathroom and a living room with elegant desk, providing direct access to the swimming pool area. It can accommodate two more people, with the use of a double sofa-bed.

Presidential Suite takes up the majority of the upper floor and enjoys bird’s eye views of the Aegean sea, the old harbor, Chania town and the «White mountains» through its ceiling-high glass windows. It consists of a relaxing private indoor lounge with original Asian furniture, the romantic master bedroom that makes it ideal for a honeymoon stay, the en-suite bathroom with elegantly built heated jacuzzi and plunge pool, a walk-in closet and an office area with elegant desk and inspirational garden views. You will definitely fall in love with it!

On the first floor, the Twin Bedroom features two comfortable single beds and a private bathroom with its own Jacuzzi bathtub. It is ideal for two adults sharing room or the family’s children.

At the lower level, the property features a separate 2 rooms studio, with independence entrance from the main villa. The studio features a bedroom with a semi-double bed, bathroom with shower and a living area with a fully equipped kitchenette. It has access to private outdoor dining table and chairs. The studio is ideal for support staff or tenants that wish to maintain their privacy during a large group stay and is rented at an additional cost, upon request only.

Natural elements such as wood, natural stone and water, enhance perfect harmony with surroundings: the pine forest’s green and the Aegean Sea blue! Unique features include an authentic ancient construction from Ottoman empire and a natural cave that add to its distinct charm. These Ottoman ruins within the premises turned into an outdoor sofa lounge “The Concubine’s Well” lounge.

All 3 levels feature covered and uncovered patios, verandas, pavilions, multiple dining areas, by the pool sundecks & lounges, as well as, a charming stone-built footpath that runs across the upper level mature gardens, blended peacefully with the eclectic landscaped gardens of the lower level.

Additionally, the outdoor space features a covered kitchen that comes fully equipped with a traditional coal BBQ, a gas BBQ, gas stoves, and a traditional wood oven.

SEPARATE FLAT STUDIO (rented extra upon request):

A two rooms studio with kitchenette and en suite bathroom with independent entrance from the main villa is available. Bedroom with semi double bed & Living room with single bed.

5.00 - ”While some furnishings/art aren’t our style and may not reflect the villa’s premium price, the positives far outweighed this. Antonis, the rental agent, was exceptional—he arranged a private tasting at one of our favorite (normally closed) wineries, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The owner, Pandelis, was responsive and accommodating, even bringing in a new playset for our kids. The chef was excellent, the home’s structure and landscaping are top-tier, and the views are breathtaking—better than the photos. AC works beautifully (rare in Europe), the blackout shades in every room were a huge plus, and the unheated pool was still perfect in the summer heat. Chania itself is a hidden gem—Puglia vibes, amazing beaches, and standout restaurants like Salis and Alibertos. Despite a few quirks, we’d happily return.”
