Villa Apoi

Stayed in villa Apoi for a week in August, we were a family of 7 with teenage kids, loved everything about it. The view was stunning, the pool beautiful.The quality of the villa was first class and the maid service was excellent. The manager Georgios was exceptionally helpful and answered all our questions. Would defiantly recommend this villa and would stay here again!

We were in villa Apoi, a great villa with a fantastic view of Souda bay.
The view of the sunset every evening will take a lot of beating!
Villa is of high quality on three levels, the lift to all floors came in very useful.
The whole villa/experience for us was great and I would highly recommend a stay.
George who looks after the villas was very helpfully and on hand if we needed him.
We dinned in the local tavernas, our favourite Fina de racha (Italian) and Emerald (traditional with Japanese twist/ great location) both in plaka 1.5km from villa. On a few occasions we ordered a meal in from the local restaurant which was excellent. A great Villa,location and Holiday.

The photos look stunning the reality is even better. We stayed as two families, adults and teenagers, and everyone had a great time. The villa is exceptionally well finished and equipped and the adeste team couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Only word of caution would be that you'll need to be able to cope with steep slopes if you plan to get out and about.

We stayed in villa Apoi in June 2013 after searching on the web for a villa with good design in mind. Villa Apoi caught our attention and since it is brand new, we thought it would be nice to visit it before it gets fully booked! Although it is part of a villa complex
and it is set in an amphitheatrical plot, we did not feel disturbed by our neighbours. The villa has such great views from EVERY room and the owners went to great lenghts in order to guarantee a great stay for us – they even provided a new iPad mini with many useful apps and interesting music libraries. All their recommendations were updated and gave us a chance to «do as the Cretans to» while being there. What we specially enjoyed was the time in the pool as it has direct access from the living room and the kids enjoyed so much the paddle pool in the corner. Also, the hot tub in the upper floor terrace was a delight when the air becomes cooler after the wonderful sunsets!
The village is quaint, although it needs to get rid of the basketball hoops from the square since it spoils the otherwise authentic scenery. But, it was such a convenience to walk just 300m if you need any grocery supplies or sit down to eat at the village taverna.
We ordered in sometimes from a local restaurant in Plaka and almost everything was perfect and reasonably priced.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the owners are planning to turn the complex into an all villas resort in the future with a reception/play room area and permanent assistance for planning excursions, booking restaurant tables etc. Hopefully next time we visit, we can try their new facilities as well!
