The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and inspiring — the perfect escape. The nearby beach, along with the local restaurants and bars, offered a wonderful mix of charm, delicious food, and friendly staff who made every visit a pleasure. George and his amazing family went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering warmth and genuine hospitality. Its very rare we return to the same place twice, but this experience has completely changed our minds — we’ll definitely be coming back.

5.00 - ”If you’re looking to stay in Plaka or Elounda, look no further!”

George has created a luxurious oasis while also treating his guests like family. When we arrived, we were delighted by all of the amenities George provided for our 16 week old baby including a bath (with built in water thermometer!), and pack n play with sheets. He even gifted her with a sweet lovey. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed and more. And then of course THE VIEW! It was breathtaking waking up every morning to the sunrise through the upstairs window that was made for the panoramic views each day. We had a lot of privacy and never felt like anyone else was staying nearby. The infinity pool made us feel like celebrities. This was seriously the best of both worlds - luxurious and private, but also with charming and warm hospitality. The next time we’re in Crete we won’t even bother looking anywhere else - this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had!

The villa is extremely well built; You can tell when staying there that this was not a rushed but well thought villa with lots of high quality furnishings. George is exceptionally hospitable, probably the most responsive host I've encountered on AirBnB, he is proactive and helps solves any problems, gives local recommendations. The Villa itself is squeaky clean, the view from the terrace makes you not want to leave at all, and you don't have to since the place is equipped with everything a person needs. The fridge was stocked with water, wine and local products (olive oil, fruits and preserves made from local produce) which was a nice accent. What a place to spend your vacation, it is a home away from home, don't hesistate to book.

4.80 - ”The villa is beautiful and what can you say about the view that is simply breathtaking! ”

On the hillside, it is 1 km from the picturesque beach of Plaka that we simply loved. The house is very good for 4 people, not very large but functional but anyway we live outside, on this beautiful terrace! The pool is 1.50 m deep and is very nice! The only downside for us was that there was no parasol, but it is true that there is a lot of wind. Georgios is simply amazing and of rare kindness. Available, responsive and always ready to advise us on the best beaches, restaurants or other! He booked restaurants for us or arranged for food to be delivered to the house. This is the first time I've dealt with such a helpful and available host! He had an impediment on the day of our arrival so he came a few days later to say hello and brought us traditional biscuits! A real treat!

The view is spectacular, and the villa is well stocked with essentials and amenities. The location is great for relaxation, with the Plaka beach only a few minutes away by car. George kindly sent us recommendations for activities all week. A few issues arose -- we had bees at the pool and one day the local town turned off the water for our whole area -- but George was extremely responsive and went the extra mile to sort through the issues for us. Especially the water situation, which was really out of his control. He was in full communications with the municipal utility workers and kept us up to date, even sending us pictures of the repairs in town in real time. He got the water back on for our villas ASAP through a massive effort, including hiring a private plumber to supplement the municipal workers. And he, his wife, and kids brought us home made treats throughout the week, which was absolutely lovely. Really went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful!

We were more than satisfied and would come back anytime. Plaka itself is a beautiful and charming village – peaceful and full of authentic Greek character. The house was a dream: the spacious terrace and the private pool were so amazing that we hardly wanted to leave the property. Everything we needed was there – a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces – it truly felt like home. George was always available and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. When the pool pump stopped working at one point, it was repaired the very same day. His helpfulness and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday in a place that exceeded all our expectations. Thank you so much, George!

It is situated just outside of Plaka with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the local surroundings. The view from the terrace/pool is very impressive, the pictures don't do it justice (it's worth getting up for the sunrise). well equipped and in a great location with the most amazing views across to Spinalonga. Best seen from the terrace and pool, although every room has a sea view. Slightly out of the village so really need a car but that wasn’t a problem and we enjoyed popping into Plaka to sample the local restaurant every evening. George was a fantastic host. Lots of lovely touches including homemade delicacies waiting on our arrival and great recommendations, even making our reservation at local restaurant in village in the mountains. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We really couldn’t fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend. Can’t wait to return.

Our host, George, was hands down the best host we’ve ever encountered in all our Airbnb stays. He was incredibly kind, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—including making multiple stops for us and even helping coordinate a food delivery to the house. His local recommendations were excellent, and as history buffs, we especially loved learning from him about the rich history of Crete and the surrounding area. The home itself was absolutely pristine—spotless and brand new, having just been built in 2024. And the views? I honestly don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere more beautiful. The infinity pool was a highlight for our whole family and made the experience feel like a dream. We had plans to explore the area more, but the house was so stunning and relaxing that we ended up spending most of our time right there on the property. It was just that good.

He met us at a easy to find location in Plaka to personally escort us to the house and get us all settled in for our stay. It has been a pleasure to stay in one of the villas and we were lucky enough to take a swim in the pool in late October. The villa comes with a beautiful view over Plaka Bay and has a well equipped kitchen, lovely interior and an outdoor barbecue place. There are 3 other villas nearby but there is still enough space and privacy to enjoy a fantastic vacation. grocery stores, bakery and restaurants about 10 minutes away…. We had three fabulous days at George‘s apartment. The view is simply stunning over the bay and sea towards the mountains of eastern Crete and the island of Spinalonga. Although the drive uphill is a bit challenging but it’s totally worth for the view. The apartment is new and very modern with stylish but cosy furnishings. The pool area is very nice and my son had a great time playing in the pool (although a bit cold end of October). George was an excellent host, very friendly and made us felt welcome right from the start. The raki, beverages and fruits were a nice gesture and very much appreciated. Would recommend the apartment anytime.

A perfect few days in Crete! George was the best host - and always available for any questions we had about his place or the surrounding area. He was friendly and quick to respond. The views from the terrace were gorgeous! The aircon system, kitchen gadgets, fridge, dishwasher and showers all worked perfectly. Good water pressure and comfy beds. The little town of Plaka was a great option for restaurants and quiet bars, and the mini-mart had all the essentials. We had 10 great days. George was always friendly, available and helpful...even with tourist things. The accommodation was very nice, clean, everything exactly as described. Die Villa ist super! Der Pool ist klasse, eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf Plaka. Die Villen von George sind toll gelegen auf einer Anhöhe oberhalb Pakas. Sehr ruhig und doch zu Fuß alles erreichbar. George hat auf jede Frage eine Antwort oder Lösung. Wer das „rundum sorglos-Paket“ möchte, ist bei George und seiner Frau genau richtig! Ob nun Flughafentransfer,Autoanmietung, Restaurantempfehlung, ein Ausflug oder Lieferservice direkt in die Villa - frag‘ einfach George und schon geht’s los! So jemanden wünscht man sich in jedem Urlaub. Rund um die Uhr erreichbar, immer super freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wir würden jeder Zeit direkt wieder zurückkehren! George’s villa is a jewel. The panoramic views from the terrace are stunning and can’t be fully captured in a photo. The villa is modern with tasteful interiors. The location is about a 15 min walk or very short drive to the beach and charming town of Plaka where there’s a nice mix of shops, restaurants, and boat to Spinalonga. George was a wonderfully thoughtful host and although he was not present during our stay, he reached out and was responsive at all the right moments to ensure that our check in was smooth and our stay was enjoyable. He also stocked the fridge with some lovely treats to welcome us upon our arrival. We were sorry our stay was so short and would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa 2. George and his family have created some beautiful villas in a great location. A short walk from the pebble beach and local restaurants but far enough away so that you have long sunny peaceful days. Watching the sunrise over spinalonga while enjoying my morning coffee each day was just bliss. The villa is really well equipped- and has those lovely touches like fluffy bathrobes and slippers to make you feel right at home. George went over and above as a host - recommending local beaches and places to eat- even take away pizza delivered to the villa from the local Italian restaurant. We hope to be back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Es gab nichts, was an der Villa gefehlt hat. Ein ganz besonderes Lob auch an den Gastgeber George, der rund um die Uhr erreichbar war, Empfehlungen ausgesprochen hat und sogar selbstgemachten Raki vorbeigebracht hat. I was worried regarding the shade being heavily pregnant and they provided an umbrella especially. I had an amazing 4 night break with my kids and their partners. We arrived at 10.30pm and George came to greet us and show us around. He helped the taxi driver with directions. His wife brought us some pastries and Limoncello and home made kumquat jam. The place was beautiful. The swimming pool was clean and welcomed. It was a 20 min walk downhill to the local town where there were plenty of restaurants. There was a pebble beach and the sea was clear. We couldn’t fault the host George and his wife. Wir waren zu viert für eine Woche in dieser wunderschönen Villa von George und seiner Frau. Es war alles rundum perfekt. Angefangen von der Kommunikation mit George bevor wir überhaupt da waren bis hin zur Versorgung von den beiden vor Ort. Wir wurden zu Beginn im Kühlschrank schon mit vielen leckeren und selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht. Das Haus hat wirklich eine traumhafte Aussicht, eine ruhige und schöne Terrasse mit einem tollen Pool. Es war alles sehr sehr sauber und gut organisiert. Es fehlt in dem Haus wirklich an nichts. George hat uns immer wieder gute Empfehlungen für leckere Restaurants und schöne Strände in der Umgebung gegeben. Er war jederzeit zu erreichen sobald wir irgendetwas wissen wollten. Wir würden alle behaupten, dass es einer der schönsten Urlaube war die wir je hatten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

We had such a great holiday in Georges villa and we would have loved to stay longer! George and Korina were the most incredible hosts we have ever come across on Air BnB when we visited their Plaka villa for our honeymoon. From meeting us at check in, through to leaving the villa nothing was too much trouble. All of the restaurant and beach recommendations were incredible and if we ever needed anything, George responded within minutes. Both George and his wife made the holiday very personal, homely and tailored to our every need. The villa is beautiful, spectacular amenities and an unspoilt view that money simply can’t buy! Amazing location and easily accessible to Plaka town and surrounding areas. We could not recommend both the hosts and the villa enough to anyone. The best honeymoon thanks to George and family. Brilliant hosts and great people- the whole family made us feel completely welcome and we’ll definitely return to the villa. Location was brilliant, villa was beautiful, lots of great restaurants surrounding in both Elounda and Agios nikolaos which are easy to get to and some lovely locals in Plaka! George went out of his way to make it special, making reservations for us and his daughter even delivered home baked goods for us!! Would 100% recommend for anyone thinking about booking- our only mention would be to make sure you hire the right car- the driveway is steep but not a problem as long as you’re prepared :) thanks George!!!

We had the pleasure of staying in Villa III for five nights on our trip and came away extremely happy with our stay and wishing we had stayed longer. George was the best Villa host we have ever had, very attentive and always on hand. The Villa was brand new and everything looked exactly like the photos, even the view! Absolutely faultless stay and we definitely recommend staying here for your trip. We made use of the Bbq and kitchen which was well equipped with everything we needed for a group of 4. Plaka itself was a nice character, very peaceful and away from the crowds - a nice Gem to find. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas provided you have a car with some of the big cities around ~30 minutes away maximum. I actually think we will be back next year and I have never visited the same place twice before

Our Family of four Stayed for 10 nights at this lovely villa.George was very helpful before and during our stay. Villa is as looks in the pictures ,great view of bay and the island of Spinalonga .A very modern and clean villa with a wonderful pool and outdoor area for eating and barbecuing. Would recommend you need a hire car too explore the local area.There are lots of good restaurants in nearby Plaka and Elounda just down the coast road. It is possible to walk down the hill into Plaka from villa ,but we drove or used taxis. George gave lots of different restaurant recommendations in area lots of choice from fine dining fish restaurants water front ,to traditional Greek tavernas in the mountain villages. Best supermarket is in Agios Nikolaos but can pick up basic supplies in Plaka and Elounda. We had a great trip and would definitely rebook this Villa .

Es lief von Anfang bis Ende alles makellos ab. Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und sieht genauso aus wie man auf den Bildern bereits erkennen kann. George ist ein wirklich hilfsbereiter und sympathischer Mensch, der versucht einem den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Er hat mir Empfehlungen gegeben und ist auf meine Vorstellungen eingegangen. Er war für mich zu jederzeit zu erreichen und hat mir immer seine Hilfe angeboten falls etwas sein sollte. A perfect villa for staying in Plaka - which was a pleasant 15 min walk to a crystal clear beach with small shops and tavernas. The villa is on a hill so the walk back is a gentle incline but worth the hike! The villa itself was immaculate, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We bbq’d most days and enjoyed the incredible view with the complimentary bottle of rosé from George. George was so responsive, helpful and also arranged our airport transfers. An exceptionally beautiful villa with private pool overlooking the island of Spinalonga and the Mirabello Gulf. George is a fantastic host, excellent communicator and was very responsive to any questions we had. He met us in Plaka, provided lots of local information and some very welcome local food and treats. The villa was beautifully designed and finished to a very high standard. It was immaculately clean with excellent bedding, towels, slippers, bathrobes and very comfortable beds. A brilliant terrace with kitchen area enabled us to cook and enjoy fantastic views whilst we ate. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be back to explore this part of Crete further.

The views from George’s Villa are absolutely breathtaking. The Villa itself is spotless and newly built to a high spec. George went to the trouble of making sure we had everything we needed (toiletries, travel cot and bed linen, homemade pastries, marmalade and raki, grocery essentials, etc.). The Villa is incredibly well equipped with everything you could need and it was particularly nice having the Villa cleaned and towels and bed linen changed during our stay. Our stay wasn’t without issues - mostly due to teething problems with it being such a new property - but George was the most responsive and communicative host we’ve ever had. He was quick to respond and resolve the issues we did have. The Villa is slightly less private than we would have liked as it is one of 3 close to each other and parts of the outdoor terrace are overlooked. This didn’t, however, take away from how lovely the outside area is and how much we enjoyed our time there. Thank you for everything, George!

If you are looking for a perfect gateway to explore the eastern part of the island, do yourself a favour and look no further. The villa was excellent in every department: crispy clean, luxuriously and very tastefully appointed, great terrace with picturesque views of Spinalonga, and, of course, a very nice outdoor BBQ & pool area. The villa is in a quiet area on a hill just off Plaka and you wake up to amazing unobstructed views of Mirabello Bay landscapes. It gets really entertaining at night as well as you have a 180-degree view for star and moon gazing (full moon over the Bay was truly remarkable!). Exploring neighboring towns is easy and convenient if you have a car. It was a short 12 min drive to Elounda (great village for tavernas and bars) and just 25 min to Agios Nikolaos. There are many great organized beaches in the area. The best part of the villa was the owners. George and Korina went out and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. Thank you, guys! We'll be back!

We were the first guests who booked this villa in Plaka in Crete on airbnb and we foubd it brand new. The place was spotless with clean linen and new furniture with a very nice swimming pool and an amazing view of the gulf of Elounda over the village of Plaka looking out to the island of Spinnalonga. George was very helpful and easy to communicate with. His wife Korina and daughter Nefeli brought us Greek treats every morning and were friendly and warm. The best thing about the villa is that is is private and has amazing views that will take your breath away. You will need a car to drive into Plaka village as the nearest shops are some 2km away. The villa is missing a clothes washing machine but Korina was so very kind as to arrange to have my clothes cleaned at laundry in nearbye Plaka. George and Korina are wonderful hosts who put their soul into making their guests feel very welcome. I highly recommend this villa!
