Geroulios Kastro Villa I is a modern three-story villa located in the traditional village of Embrosneros in the picturesque Apokoronas region of Chania. The spacious villa offers the perfect escape for families and groups seeking a private villa in Crete with a heated private pool, open living spaces, and a tranquil countryside atmosphere. It provides the ideal balance between authentic Cretan village life and modernity. Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and gentle hills, the area offers a serene rural atmosphere while being only a short drive from the sandy beaches of Georgioupolis, Kalyves, and Almyrida. The villa sits just 30 minutes from Chania city and 40 minutes from Chania International Airport (CHQ), making it an ideal base for exploring both the north and south coasts of Crete. Within a small distance, guests can find local tavernas, cafés, and mini markets, where they can experience genuine Cretan hospitality and taste traditional dishes made with local ingredients. Geroulios Kastro Villa 1 belongs to a complex of two villas next to each other and manged by the same host. The villas are connected by an outdoor bridge.

With a total living area of 400 sqm and set within 1,000 sqm of landscaped outdoor space, Geroulios Kastro Villa I is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in existing beds and 5 additional guests on sofa beds in the bedrooms. The ground floor features a living area with a sofa, a 55’ Smart Satellite TV, and a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for six guests create the perfect setting for family gatherings. This level also includes two bedrooms, both with double beds, as well as a shared bathroom with a shower.

The first floor hosts two more bedrooms, both with king-size beds, sofa beds, and private ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs.

The second floor includes two more bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, A/C, and a 32’ TV. Both rooms also feature comfortable sofa beds, providing flexibility for larger groups while ensuring privacy and comfort.

Outdoors, Geroulios Kastro Villa I embodies the essence of luxury living in Chania. The private heated swimming pool (40 sqm, 1.50 m depth) is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. The highlight of the outdoor area is the fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table for up to 20 guests. A pergola-shaded dining area and a barbecue corner featuring both charcoal and gas grills, along with a traditional wood stove, create the perfect atmosphere for al fresco meals and gatherings with family or friends. The spacious outdoor terrace is also ideal for yoga sessions, meditation, or simply enjoying the serenity of the Apokoronas countryside. Upon request, yoga mattresses can be provided to enhance your wellness experience. parking is available on the property for 6-7 cars.

*Heated Pool Policy: The swimming pool can be heated from March till the end of June and from September till the end of November, upon request, free of charge by a Pool Heat Pump at about 26 - 27°C, depending on weather conditions. We request three days` advance notice for this facility. Moreover, for the months of July and August, the pool can be heated upon request at an additional cost. We also request three days` advance notice for this facility, and the cost shall be paid in cash upon arrival.
