We spent a week in this marvellous place. The amenities are perfect and so is the service. Plaka is a small gem next to Elounda, quiet and peaceful. Upon our arrival we received fruits, bread, butter and jam, along with a bottle of wine. There is daily cleaning service. The infinite pool is magnificent. We could see the sunrise from the terrace. The beds are extremely comfortable and so it is the air conditioning, extremely necessary. There are several restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend 100%.

Gorgeous place in a hamlet with truly great restaurants (Giovanni’s and Carob Tree were especially good), shops and boats headed to Spinalonga every 45 minutes. Elounda is a short drive and Agios Nikolas half an hour away, beautiful beaches that were perfect for our kids (5 & 7). The house itself is solid and big, the pictures don’t do it, or the views, justice.

We loved it and little extra touches just made the stay more enjoyable. Thanks!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this villa in September. We know Plaka quite well and it is a terrific town with great restaurants, bars and shops/facilities. The villa was SO much better than the pictures - we were delighted! The villa is private with an amazing view and lots of space both internally and externally. The pool is the best we have come across - warm (always) and big enough with an lovely infinity outlook. The villa has lovely fittings, great towels, bedding and gowns and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were helpful and communicative. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for your holiday.

Great place, extremely well-designed and clean, beautiful infinity pool and garden with breath-taking view. Perfect location - walking distance from the nearby village and a short drive to Elounda and various amazing beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much - highly recommended!

Comfortable house with a wonderful view of Spinalonga and Plaka. Fantastic outdoor spaces. The only negative of the house was the kitchen was not well set up for any serious cooking - we could never get the stove to work - but Plaka has so many great restaurants it was not a big deal for us. Housekeeping service was an unexpected bonus.

The villa is a great property in a wonderful location overlooking Plaka although it is a steep climb up the 100m driveway to the property! Lovely pool, large patio area, nice dining area with great view, and inside the villa was well laid out. Availability of daily cleaning was certainly an unexpected luxury. Despite being one of three close villas, privacy was certainly not a problem at all as due to the design we were not overlooked. Our only small issue was the small number of pots/pans and limited crockery (e.g. we had to buy our own mugs as there were only small cups available!). Plaka itself is a lovely resort with a village atmosphere. There are numerous restaurants to try and a number of friendly bars. Plus of course the island of Spinalonga is a short 10 minute boat ride away and well worth a visit, especially if you have read The Island by Victoria Hislop! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend both the villa and Plaka. We will be returning!

Nous avons pleinement pu profiter de notre séjour à Plaka! L'accueil était chaleureux comme tous les gens que nous avons pu rencontrer pendant nos vacances en Crète. La villa Mirabello super avec une vue exceptionnelle, grande terrasse et magnifique piscine. Toute était propre et la femme de ménage passait tous les matins. En plus, la plage et l'idyllique village de Plaka accessible à 5 minutes à pied. Si je dois mentioner un point moins fort: l'équipement de la cuisine, services et vaisselle devrait être completé. Et le chantier bruyant à proximité sera certainement bouclé quand on reviendra. Fam. Cardinaux, Suisse

When my daughter and I and my two grandchildren left Villa Mirabello last year we knew we wanted to return ... and so we did. Couldn't wait to get there.. This villa certainly lives up to its name . It's location is superb ... One of three high quality villas , it sits in a elevated position with a breathtaking view across the Bay of Mirabello towards the beautiful island of Spinalonga and within five minutes walk of the unspoilt fishing village of Plaka. The minute you walk in you begin to relax . The villa is immaculate and has everything. You could possibly need down to luxury bathrobes and slippers and lovely little touches like essentials in the fridge fruit and water plus a box of biscuit from the owners bakery means that whatever time you arrive you will not go hungry ! The owner Kostas is lovely and couldn't be more helpful , nothing is too much trouble . The villa and pool , which is just beautiful are cleaned regularly and there are plenty of loungers and areas of sun and shade so everyone is happy ! Plaka itself is perfect , relaxing and quiet but with lovely tavernas and shops including a perfectly adequate supermarket with delightful owners .. In fact you need go no further if you just want to rest but I would recommend you get out and about and see this beautiful part of Crete ., it has everything .. Elounda is a bustling fishing port about ten minutes drive away and Agios Nikolaos should not be missed ! The island of Spinalonga is my absolute favourite though ...ia short boat ride from Plaka and totally mesmerising both fictionally and historically ! Again , we cannot wait to return ...will be counting the days ! ol Th
