Villa Maria Emanuela
Prina - Lassithi
Villa Maria - Emmanouela is situated on the outskirts of Prina, a peaceful and most picturesque village in a twenty-minute driving distance from Agios Nikolaos. The villa definitely has an almost magic character.
Surrounded by natural stone walls, it gives out the odor of past times and fills you in with emotions of romanticism, nostalgia, excitement, inner tranquility and the sense of freedom.

Τake a relaxing bath in the hand made marble bath tab and sleep tight in the two twin bedrooms that both have direct access to the stone-flagged terrace. Enjoy your breakfast or a coffee there, have a barbecue in the traditional wood burning oven or just swim in the private pool…
Get to know yourself and the people you love better undisturbed by any negative emotions…Live the magic!!! And don’t forget: it’s the perfect place to propose!!
The interior of the villa is equivalently amazing. There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen and a dining area decorated in a way that reminds you of old black and white films.
An old pair of cast- iron gates divides them from the living room where you can relax in front of a gorgeous stone fireplace while enjoying the spectacular panoramic view through the large picture windows right behind it…It’s like living in two dimensions, being inside and outside at the same time, enjoying the calmness of the villa and the pure beauty of the nature surrounding it.

4.60 - ”Peaceful rural setting with splendid mountain views, comfortable accommodation”
Villa is comfortable and clean though nights are chilly as it is actually quite high up. Lovely walks with spectacular scenery, just follow any of the roads out of the village.
Most of Crete is mountainous so expect hairy drives along roads with steep drops and fantastic views. this property is no exception.
Bring some kitchen essentials - your favourite knife etc as the cutlery is pretty basic although the owner was very helpful with provision of extra saucepan, coffee percolator etc. No shops in village but some passing vans selling bread and veg. Best for food shopping and tavernas, and easiest road to drive, is Iarepetra on south coast. Agios Nicholaos very touristy.
